After Tenses

To a simply tense presence.

There’s always a moment when I feel like I’m missing certain someone from the past. A moment that lasts in minutes. A moment of looking back at the past without the intention of going back. A moment of reminding myself that if things didn’t work, it wouldn’t work.

I used to be the one who suffered to see you miserable, but you didn’t even bother. So, if today you’re not happy to see me happy with someone else, don’t let me know because I won’t be happy.

You know, I can always stalk you if I want, but I decide not to. I never want to look pathetic just because I miss you.

Nobody really pays attention to a desperate fool, like I used to be. Although now I'm no longer desperate, I'm still a fool like I was in the past.

Nothing’s new in Past Tense after all.
